Kelly's mother Amy had a need and desire for a nursing cover that she felt was attractive enough to wear anywhere, and yet inconspicuously nurse her baby. She searched the net and the department stores looking for the right thing, but was unsuccessful.
Amy asked me (Kelly's grandmother) for help and ideas, so we put our heads together and came up with the Secretly Nursing shawl. Together we designed a breastfeeding cover to match the dress she wore to a wedding.
She got so many compliments, we decided to market our idea!
